PITTSBURGH – Brad and Michelle Hall knew baby Isaac would be arriving right around Mother’s Day, but they had no idea he would be such a big boy.

Isaac weighed in at a whopping 13 pounds 10 ounces. He’s already too big for newborn size clothes.

“I always said we were nine months pregnant for the last three months,” Michelle Hall told WTAE.

They knew Isaac would be bigger than average, so the Hall’s scheduled a C-section for a safe delivery.

“When I polled all the pediatricians from this hospital, some of them whom date from the early 1980s, there’s never been a baby on record that’s this size,” Dr. Sword, the Hall’s OBGYN, said.

Sometimes, big babies can have an underlying health issue. But doctors say Isaac is completely healthy.
