Keeping your child safe: NE Ohio Amber Alert Committee to present ‘Protecting Your Children’

CLEVELAND- The Northeast Ohio Amber Alert Committee is inviting the public to its first event called ‘Protecting Your Children.’

Information will be available on how best to keep your child safe, and, in case of an emergency, easily found by authorities. The program will also explain the differences between Amber Alerts, missing children and missing persons. Experts from law enforcement and other agencies will be at the event to provide important information to keep your family protected and prepared.

The event is free and open to the public. It will be held Wednesday, May 20 at 6:30 p.m.; doors open at 5:30 p.m.  It’s at the Cleveland State University Student Center Building on Euclid Ave. It will be held in the main ballroom on the third floor.

Michelle Knight will be the guest of honor.
