Cleveland Cavaliers prepare for Game 2 against the Chicago Bulls

CLEVELAND – The Cavaliers fell to the Bulls, 99-92, in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals on Monday. The Cavs were without starter Kevin Love, who is out for the season after shoulder surgery.

The Cavaliers were also without J.R. Smith who was suspended for two games during the final game against the Celtics in the last series. He will return to the Cavs lineup on Friday in Chicago.

The Bulls held a strong lead throughout the first half of Monday’s game, but the Cavaliers battled back within four during the final minutes, but they couldn’t close the deal.

The Cavs and Bulls will remain in Cleveland for tonight’s game, which starts at 7 p.m., before they head to Chicago for Friday’s game, that game is set to start at 8 p.m.
