Brunswick man killed in motorcycle accident

LIVERPOOL TOWNSHIP, OH – A 46-year-old man lost his life in a motorcycle accident late yesterday afternoon.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol reports that Vaughn D. Theiry II, of Brunswick, was riding south on Columbia Road near Myrtle Hill Rd at about 4 p.m. when his motorcycle drove off the road and struck a guard rail.

Theiry was thrown off of the motorcycle, which landed on its side in the road. Emergency crews responded to the scene, but Theiry was pronounced dead.

He was not wearing a helmet when he crashed and police do not know if alcohol or drugs were involved in the accident. It remains under investigation.
