BALTIMORE, Maryland– Right in the middle of riots and chaos, a man started dancing to Michael Jackson’s ‘Beat It.’

It happened Monday, blocks away from where a police line was set up. The man, identified by several media outlets as Dimitri Reeves, stood on top of a truck and performed to the song; later in the evening, he danced in the middle of the street.

Monday’s outbreak of violence followed the funeral for Freddie Gray, the 25-year-old man who died after he was arrested more than two weeks ago. Cars were set on fire; stores were destroyed; and six officers were seriously injured.
