CLEVELAND-Firefighters are battling a blaze at two apartment buildings on Denison Ave. and West 67th St. on Cleveland's west side.

Kevin Freeman reports that around 2:18 p.m., Battalion Fire Chief Patrick Mangan was driving by the scene and saw the smoke.

He went into the building and carried out a woman who was in a wheelchair. Officials believe the fire may have started in an apartment that was being renovated; but an official cause is not yet known.

One firefighter is being treated for a minor hand injury at MetroHealth Medical Center.

Six people are displaced.
