CLEVELAND, Ohio — Cleveland Cavaliers GM David Griffin says it’s unlikely that Kevin Love will return at any point during the playoffs.

Love sustained a left shoulder dislocation during the first quarter of Sunday’s game against the Boston Celtics after tangling with Kelly Olynyk.

Team doctors previously reported that the injury is “an acute anterior inferior glenohumeral dislocation with the corresponding ligament/labrum tearing and humeral head bone bruising.”

Griffin said Tuesday that surgery is an option.

Monday night, the NBA announced Olynyk would be suspended a game.
