CUYAHOGA CO., Ohio — Power is back on for most Cuyahoga County residents after an outage overnight.
At one point, thousands of customers were without power in the Lakewood area.
As of 6:50 a.m., about 855 customers were still affected by the outage, and most had been restored as of 7 a.m.
Lakewood Police Department said the outage was sporadic, and that the issue was caused by a raccoon that crawled into a substation.
Police said the outage is not expected to pose any major morning issues.
