Ohio Fire Marshal searching for arson suspects from two East Cleveland fires

EAST CLEVELAND – The Division of State Fire Marshal is asking the public for help after two fires on Bender Avenue in East Cleveland were found to be arson.


The first fire was on April 16; it damaged three different homes on Bender Avenue. The second fire was on April 20, damaging another home on Bender Avenue.

East Cleveland Fire Department responded to both scenes and the East Cleveland Police Department is also investigating.

A $5,000 reward is being offered by Blue Ribbon Arson Committee for information leading to an arrest of a person or persons involved.

The Cuyahoga County Crime Stoppers will pay up to $2,000 for any tips as well.
