Cleveland Cavaliers top Boston Celtics, 113-100, in first game of the playoffs

CLEVELAND - The Cavaliers and the Boston Celtics battled it out Sunday in the first game of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs. The Cavs took the win, they now lead the series 1-0.

The first quarter didn't start out as strong for the Cavs, trailing the Celtics for most of it. But in the second quarter, they turned it around, pulling away to take a 62-54 lead at halftime. Kyrie Irving lead at the half with 20 points.

The Celtics made an attempt at the Cavs lead, coming within 6 points later in the third. The Cavaliers continued to pull away though, taking a 91-76 lead to go into the fourth quarter.

The Cavs really ran away with it in the fourth, widening the gap and taking the biggest lead they had all game.
