Update: arrests made in Cleveland security guard shooting

CLEVELAND - A security guard was shot early this morning on Prospect Avenue.

Officers from the Downtown Services Unit were called out to the area around 1146 Prospect Avenue at 2:30 a.m. today, Sunday April 12th. It was there that they found the 25-year-old security guard shot in the head. The suspects fired the weapon from outside the establishment at the door. Officers  were able to get suspect vehicle information and descriptions.

Shortly after that, the suspect vehicle was located in the area of East 14th and Carnegie. Two adult males were arrested and a weapon confiscated.

The security guard is in stable condition and expected to recover.
