Police need help identifying suspects in theft of awards from late filmmaker’s apartment

AKRON, Ohio– Akron police are asking for the public’s help in identifying persons of interest in connection with the burglary of a late filmmaker’s apartment.

Police said the crime happened on March 13, between 4 p.m. and midnight. Prized possessions including Emmy Awards and photography equipment, were stolen from the home of Paul Jacoway. The 55-year-old died unexpectedly of natural causes on March 9. Jacoway was an accomplished filmmaker, a graduate of Kenmore High School in Akron, Kent State University and graduate school at the University of Akron, where he had been teaching as a visiting professor.

All of the people in the video above are wanted for questioning, according to police.
