GOODYEAR, Ariz.- For years, late-night talk show host Jimmy Kimmel has been making A-list celebrities read mean tweets.

The Cleveland Indians took time out from spring training to do the same. Baseball fans blasted the Sports Illustrated jinx and the starting pitching rotation, while taking shots at Nick Swisher, Cory Kluber and Lonnie Chisenhall, who one person said is, “The reason why we can’t have nice things.”

“Someone want to tell Jason Kipnis to stop eating and starting hitting.” Kipnis replied “Why not both?” while eating a hotdog.

“I think Carlos Santana needs to stick with playing the guitar,” the first basemen read. He then sang a tribute to the Grammy-winning guitarist by the same name.

Announcer Jim Rosenhaus, general manager Chris Antonetti and manager Terry Francona also embraced the criticism in the video.
