Woman pinned after car crashed into Parma Heights building

PARMA HEIGHTS, Ohio- Two people were injured when a car crashed through a building in Parma Heights Friday morning.

It happened at the Kidney Center of Parma on North Church Drive shortly after 10 a.m.

Police said a male patient was going in for treatment when he backed into another car, pushing it several feet. The driver then drove into the building, pinning a female patient under the car.

The 61-year-old woman was taken to MetroHealth Medical Center, while the 79-year-old driver was transported to University Hospital.

The Kidney Center of Parma is closed indefinitely.
