Aaron Zimmerman, 25, was last seen on Nov. 14 when he left his home on Camden Avenue. Days later, Lorain police issued an endangered missing adult alert because he suffers from schizophrenia and needs medication.

A man discovered the body in a heavily-wooded area south of the intersection of Chelsea and Packard drives at about 10:30 a.m. Lorain police said they believe the deceased is Zimmerman, but the coroner’s office will make the identification.

Zimmerman’s family was notified. The cause of death is under investigation.

In December, community members, along with police and Lorain County Metro Parks rangers, searched for Zimmerman near the Day’s Dam area.
