Giant Eagle has voluntarily chosen to recall their brand of seasonally cut-out shaped cookies, that are baked in-store, due to an undeclared milk allergen.

The cookies came in several different holiday shapes. The products are completely safe for those without a milk allergy, but those with an allergy should avoid the cookies.

The cookies being recalled were sold in Pennsylvania, Ohio, Maryland and West Virginia.

Giant Eagle became aware of the allergen when some customers reported reactions to the cookies. Milk was correctly in the cookies, but was mistakenly left off the label as an allergen.

Customers may throw away the product or return it for a full refund.
