CLEVELAND – Thursday afternoon, around 6 p.m., NFL Insiders Ian Rapoport and Rand Getlin reported Jordan Cameron had re-signed with the Cleveland Browns, when in fact he ended up signing with the Miami Dolphins.
The Dolphins confirmed the signing on their Twitter account just after 9 p.m.
The reported Browns deal was for 2 years and $15 million.
The details of the Miami deal are unknown.
Earlier Thursday, the Browns signed quarterback Thaddeus Lewis.
Last month, the Browns announced they signed a three-year deal with veteran quarterback Josh McCown.
