Driver hits man walking in street, then flees

BROOKLYN, Ohio — Police are looking for the driver of a pick-up truck who reportedly hit a pedestrian and then left the scene.

According to police, it happened in the 8500 block of Clinton Road eastbound at about 5:15 a.m. Thursday.

A 41-year-old male from Cleveland was walking in the street at the time due to the sidewalks being blocked by snow. He was walking eastbound.

The driver of a dark-colored pick-up truck was driving eastbound and hit the victim. The suspect did not stop.

The victim was taken to the hospital. His injuries are unknown.

Anyone with information is asked to call police.
