CLEVELAND, Ohio — The Cleveland Browns have signed veteran quarterback Thaddeus Lewis, general manager Ray Farmer announced Thursday.

Lewis, 30, spent the 2011-2012 seasons in Cleveland. He made his first NFL start in the Browns’ 2012 season finale at Pittsburgh.

He had a brief stint with the Detroit Lions in 2013 before landing with the Buffalo Bills. He joined the Houston Texans on Nov. 26, 2014.

The Browns just last month announced they signed a three-year deal with veteran quarterback Josh McCown.
