10 millionth visitor gets huge welcome at Rock and Roll Hall of Fame

CLEVELAND, Ohio -- The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum welcomed its 10 millionth visitor Thursday.

Ross Walker, of New York City, was the lucky winner.

He was greeted with a balloon drop, a proclamation from the mayor's office, a cake and a prize package valued at more than $4,000.

The prize package included two tickets to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame 2015 Induction Ceremony, a 'Headliner Membership' to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, a limited edition Rock Hall guitar, headphones, Sirius XM Onyx Satellite Radio with a one-year free subscription and a special behind-the-scenes 'Vault Tour in the museum's collections artifacts vault.

This year is the Rock Hall's 20th anniversary. This year it will celebrate an induction ceremony, Cleveland Rock Week and the opening of its newest exhibit, Herb Ritts: The Rock Portraits."
