LAKEWOOD, Ohio -- Furniture making isn't what Freddy Hill intended to do with his life. He went to college for pre-med, then he joined a band, then he got his first table saw. It didn't take long for him to get hooked on building furniture.

Hill is a finalist on Spike TV's furniture-building competition show called "Framework." Another local man, Jason Radcliffe, is also a finalist on the show.

Hill works out of the Screw Factory Artists' Studio on Athens Avenue in Lakewood.
