LOUISVILLE, Kentucky – For Mia, doing tricks is all in her daily routine. But instead of hearing the commands from her trainer, she reads them.
Yes, the mini Australian shepherd can read.
According to WAVE3, Mia’s trainer says she can train any dog to perform like Mia.
“When I say by week four your dogs are qualified to read, and they’re like no way!” Mia’s trainer says of other owners. “And sure enough the dogs are reading by four weeks and their jaws are just dropping to the ground.”
It all begins with learning vocal commands, then incorporating a hand signal and eventually adding the bold letters.
