Police said Clinton Harrill, 53, of Cleveland, was trolling for victims in a parking lot when he decided to follow this elderly woman.

She parked in the garage at her house on Hilliard Boulevard, but Harrill used a recycling bin to keep the garage door from closing. According to police, he pulled the 73-year-old woman’s hair and took her purse before fleeing.

“His manner of predatory stalking illustrates the importance of people being aware of their surroundings and attuned to suspicious behaviors, persons, and vehicles,” Westlake police said in a news release on Thursday.
