CLEVELAND- A new movie starring Bruce Willis has stopped filming in Cleveland because of funding issues, the Greater Cleveland Film Commission said on Thursday.

The production company told the film commission it is working to find the remaining funds. Benaroya Pictures hopes to resume principal photography for “Wake” in two to three weeks.

“We are continuing with our mission to build a year round industry in Cleveland and Northeast Ohio,” said film commission president Ivan Schwarz in a news release.

Piper Perabo and Ben Kingsley are expected to appear in “Wake.”
