A new study by Scientific Reports indicates compared with alcohol, marijuana use could be even safer than previously thought.

The study looked at alcohol and illegal substances to find out the rates of death associated with each. Alcohol was the deadliest, according to the Washington Post, followed by heroin and cocaine.

Marijuana, according to the study, was the least risky drug, at 114 times less deadly than alcohol. It was also the only drug that posed a low death risk to users.
