NIAGARA FALLS, New York — Niagara Falls is a spectatular sight no matter when you see it.
But, it’s even more spectacular when it becomes partially frozen.
People are flocking to the falls to take in the sight and snap pictures and shoot video.
Temperatures have not been above freezing at Niagara Falls this entire month, so a substantial amount of ice has formed.
Despite the frigid temperatures, 20 million gallons of water are still flowing.
Historians say Niagara Falls has only completely frozen over once in the past 150 years.
