Woman jumps out window to safety during Cleveland house fire

CLEVELAND- A woman jumped out of a window to escape a fire on Cleveland’s west side Monday morning.

It happened on Brinsmade Avenue near West 88th Street.

The woman awoke to the fire and jumped out the window to safety. She then ran to a neighbor’s house for help.

Fire officials said a 53-year-old woman was taken to the hospital with smoke inhalation.
