Westlake man accused of molesting seven underage girls

WESTLAKE, Ohio- A Westlake  man was indicted following accusations he molested seven underage girls.

William Waters III faces a 106-count indictment, which includes charges of rape, kidnapping, gross sexual imposition and corrupting another with drugs.

According to the indictment, Waters started molesting one of the victims when she was 9 years old. The abuse lasted from 2008 to 2014, and involved Waters performing an unlawful abortion, court documents said.

In July, his wife, Heather Waters, came forward with the allegations during divorce proceedings. Westlake police charged Waters on July 21, but he fled the area. U.S. Marshals arrested him after a pursuit and struggle near Ft. Smith, Arkansas in October.

He is being held on $1 million bond.

The indictment accuses his mother, Cheryl Waters, and Heather Waters of obstructing official business. Cheryl Waters was also indicted for tampering with evidence and obstructing justice.
