Man suspected of robbing four Akron businesses this year

AKRON, Ohio- Police believe the man who robbed an Akron Walgreens store is responsible for three other robberies in the city.

The suspect walked into the Walgreens on South Canton Road at about 8 p.m. Friday. Akron police said he milled around the store before going to the checkout counter, acting like he had a gun and demanding cash.

The clerk handed over the money and the suspect fled.

Police said the suspect appears to be involved in the following robberies: Dollar General on Brittain Road on Jan. 24, Dollar General on Mogadore Road on Jan. 26 and Subway on Kenmore Boulevard on Feb. 4.
