There she is… Pageant preps underway for Miss Greater Cleveland

PARMA, Ohio- Getting pageant-prepared. The Miss Greater Cleveland Scholarship Pageant and The Miss Greater Cleveland Outstanding Teen Pageant are coming up.

Both will take place on Saturday, Feb. 28, at the Parma-Snow Library Auditorium at 2 p.m., at 2121 Snow Road in Parma.

Miss Greater Cleveland is an official preliminary to the Miss Ohio Scholarship Pageant in Mansfield that continues to the Miss America Scholarship Pageant in Atlantic City.

According to a press release, the pageants are open to any young lady in the state of Ohio.

Age requirements for the Teen pageant are 13-17 (as of July 31, 2015) and for the Miss pageant, ages 17-24 (as of July 31, 2015.)

Teen contestants compete in interview; a fitness routine; talent; evening gown; and onstage question. The Miss contestants compete in interview; swimwear; talent; evening gown; and onstage question.

There is no fee to compete in the Miss Greater Cleveland Pageant, but contestants are required to secure $100 for the Children’s Miracle Network by Feb. 14. There is a fee of $200 to compete for the Teen title.
