3 dead, 3 hurt in Warrensville Heights shooting

WARRENSVILLE HEIGHTS, Ohio -- Three people are dead and three others are injured after a shooting on Harvard Avenue in Warrensville Heights on Thursday.

Police rushed to the area after getting calls about a shooting at Chalk Linez Barber Shop. Neighboring businesses were then evacuated and closed.

According to the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's Office, Walter Lee Barfield, 23, of Cleveland was found dead in the shop.

William Gonzalez, 32, of Garfield Heights, and Brandon White, 31, of Warrensville Heights, were taken to South Pointe Hospital, where they died.

White's sister, Keisha Landson, said her brother was a barber, who leaves behind two young sons.
