Police: Man accused of impersonating an officer found to be on official business

STOW, Ohio – The Stow Police Department has identified the man shown in a previous Facebook post as a man working for the Department of Public Safety.

The post previously stated he was a person of interest in a case of impersonating a police officer, but police say he was on official business and is not a person of interest.

The police appreciate the effort from the public in helping to to identify the man.
