Woman outside Sagamore Hills assisted living facility died of hypothermia

SAGAMORE HILLS, Ohio- The elderly woman found outside a Sagamore Hills assisted living facility died of hypothermia.

A plow truck driver discovered Martha Jendrix, 94, outside Elmcroft of Sagamore Hills on West Aurora Road at about 7:30 a.m. Monday.

The Summit County Medical Examiner’s Office said Jendrix died of hypothermia caused by environmental exposure. Her death has been ruled an accident.

Greg Kaminski, executive director of Elmcroft of Sagamore Hills, said they are working with local law enforcement.
