MARLBORO, Ohio- Police in Marlboro are looking for a man who represented himself as a Marlboro police detective during a traffic stop.

Police say Monday around 6 p.m., a black Chevrolet Impala or Malibu, possibly early 2000 model with red and blue lights in the rear window, stopped a car on Paris Ave. near Easton St.

The driver was described as a white man in his late 40s with white hair.

Marlboro police say the department has no detective bureau; also, all of its cars are white except for its SUV which is silver.

Reach out to Marlboro police if you know who the impersonator might be.
