GREEN- A Parma man was found with a missing Summit County teen on Wednesday.
“I met this girl online and her profile said that she was 20,” Raliegh Abraham told Fox 8.
“This was her fault, she did lie about the age, there was no kind of sexual interaction, never did anything with her.”
A woman reported her 13-year-old daughter missing to the Summit County Sheriff’s Office. The sheriff’s office said they spotted the girl getting out of a car about an hour later in Green, so they questioned the driver.
Abraham, 23, of Parma, met the girl on an online dating site then had sexual contact with her, according to sheriff’s deputies. When authorities searched his house, they found stolen property and drug paraphernalia.
While together, Abraham said that nothing happened and when he realized her age he knew he had to get her back home.
“Her mom was calling her, and she didn’t want to answer the phone," Abrham said.
"I was like, 'you kinda gotta talk to your mom, especially now I see why she’s calling cause you’re not even anywhere close to the age that you told me' and I pretty much took her home after that.”
Abraham was charged with unlawful sexual conduct with a minor and taken to the Summit County Jail. Additional charges are pending.
