MENTOR, Ohio - After Kevin Edmond, Mentor fire chief and lifelong Cavaliers fan, was nominated by his wife, he had no idea what was coming at work on Thursday.

Edmund was surprised with family, the Cavalier girls and in-arena host Ahmaad Crump at his fire station.

Edmund's wife wrote to the Cavaliers to nominate her husband, and his community passion led to his selection.

On Jan. 23 Edmund will attend the Cavaliers game and be honored at halftime.

His selection includes dinner for two at a Cavaliers' preferred restaurant, premium game seats, VIP Court Club access, a personalized jersey and more.
