LORAIN – Police are warning residents of Lorain to watch for a man coming to front doors posing as an electrical inspector.

Lorain Building Department has received two reports in the last week of a male knocking on doors and telling the homeowners he was there for a city inspection.

The many reportedly drove a red Kia.

Residents are told not to allow anyone in their home without proper identification. City employees also have a placard in the windows of their cars listing that they’re city employees.
