DALLAS – As the Buckeyes wrapped up practice for the National Championship Sunday, they returned to their hotel rooms to find a surprise from LeBron James and Beats by Dre.

All players received the headphones, as LeBron is sponsored by Beats by Dre and is a long time Ohio State fan, attending football games in his free time.

LeBron has also mentioned in the past that he would have attended Ohio State had he not opted to enter the NBA out of high school.

“LeBron helped facilitate the connection with Beats by Dre. The headphones were donated to Ohio State and were distributed within permissible NCAA limitations on awards, ” said Jerry Emig, the Associate Director of Athletic Communications, in a statement.
