Girl pulls over to help injured officer without knowing it’s her father

GULF BREEZE, Florida – An officer is currently recovering after being run over during a traffic stop.

While he was injured in the road, several bystanders stopped to help him, unknowingly one was his daughter.

In the above video from Sergeant Kerstan Tatro’s dash cam, you can see the confrontation with the driver before she drives off, pulling him a few feet before getting away.

As he lays on the ground asking for help on his radio, people begin to stop and help him, one being his daughter who begins to cry and scream once realizing it’s her father on the ground.

Another bystander has to console the crying girl even as her father reassures her that he’s alright.

The driver was allegedly going 65 mph in a 35 mph zone, according to FOX 10 News.

The officer is currently recovering in a local hospital with a compound fracture in his right arm.
