Power restored to six buildings on Cleveland Clinic’s main campus

CLEVELAND- Several buildings on the Cleveland Clinic’s main campus were experiencing power outages Monday morning.

FirstEnergy said there was a problem with an underground cable that feeds the Cleveland Clinic’s substation. Power was restored at about noon.

The clinic said back-up generators were used in six of the buildings between East 96th and East 105th streets.

The Cleveland Clinic canceled all appointments at the Cole Eye and Crile buildings for Monday afternoon.
