COLUMBUS, Ohio- This new year brings a new style of driver’s licenses in the state of Ohio.
The Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles said the new format for licenses and identification cards took effect on Monday.
Instead of mostly pink, the new cards are blue. There are also changes to the holograms that help prevent counterfeiting.
Licenses in the old style will remain valid until their individual expiration dates. If you want a new, blue license early, that will cost you $25.75 at an Ohio BMV branch.
