Convenience store in Akron robbed at gunpoint twice

AKRON, Ohio- An Akron convenience store was robbed twice over the weekend and Akron say the same person is responsible.

The robberies happened at Mr. Pantry on Copley Road near Storer Avenue at about 10 p.m. Friday and 6:30 p.m. Sunday.

Akron police said the robber was armed with a black and silver handgun. He pushed the store clerk before stealing cash and fleeing.

The suspect was wearing a black hooded-sweatshirt and a white bandana that covered his face.
