NORTH OLMSTED, Ohio — The Cleveland Division of FBI is asking for information in a robbery at a North Olmsted bank Tuesday.

According to authorities, it happened at about 2:30 p.m. at the 5/3 Bank at 28880 Lorain Road.

A white male wearing a black knit mask entered the bank and waved a firearm back and forth demanding money. He told all the tellers to open their drawers.

The suspect placed the money in a white garbage bag and then left the bank, getting into the driver’s side of a red Mercury van with tinted windows. The van crossed Lorain Road, heading behind a plaza and possibly south on Stearns Road.

The suspect is described as being in his 30s or 40s, about 5’10” and around 180 pounds.

A reward is available for information leading to the successful identification and prosecution of the suspect. Tips can remain anonymous and can be provided to the Cleveland FBI at 216-522-1400 or to the North Olmsted Police Department.
