LAKEWOOD, Ohio- About 5,000 Lakewood residents were affected in a power outage Monday afternoon.

Most of the outages were east of Warren Road, causing county officials to warn residents to treat inactive traffic lights as four-way stops.

FirstEnergy spokesman Mark Burbin said the outage was caused by a transformer issue and was resolved in about 50 minutes.
