Update: 3-year-old girl abandoned in Los Angeles reunited with parent

LOS ANGELES – According to a news release from The Los Angeles Police Department the 3-year-old girl abandoned at the Grove shopping center on Saturday has been reunited with a parent.

Park attendants told LAPD that a woman dropped of the child at the valet area with a car seat, but no one ever came back to pick her up.

The attendants notified police and she was taken into their custody. The Department of Children and Family Services was notified also.

The girl, Audrey, has long, dark hair, wearing a pink shirt and purple pants and appears to be in good health according to LAPD officers.

She was not able to provide her own last name, but did tell officers her first name.
