Alliance Police searching for suspect passing counterfeit bills

ALLIANCE – Police are currently searching for a suspect passing counterfeit $50 bills at the Sheetz on Union Avenue. The incident took place around 1 a.m. early Sunday morning.

The suspect, shown in the photos above, is described to be between 18-22, 5’8″ and around 200 pounds.

He left the Sheetz, passed a $100 to a person in the parking lot and returned asking for change for a $50.

He went back outside, to a red sedan, but later returned to make small purchases and ask for change again.

He then left Sheetz, getting into the red car.

Anyone with details is asked to contact Alliance police.
