CLEVELAND- Protesters from Ferguson, Missouri will be joining local demonstrators this weekend for several planned events.

About 60 to 70 from Ferguson say they will take part in the protests to show their support to Tamir Rice's family. Those coming are part of an organization called Freedom Fighters.

Tamir Rice was shot by a Cleveland Police officer November 22 outside the Cudell Recreation Center.

Police were responding to a call about a male with a gun. When they got to the center, officers say they told Rice to put his hands up; but instead, he reached for his waistband. Rice had an Airsoft Pistol that looked like a real gun.

The protests will be held throughout the city Saturday and Sunday.
