MANSFIELD, OH -- He's a young boy with a big dream and thanks to a local police chief, he feels really good about seeing that dream come true.

Treshaun Smith, 11, had cataract surgery a little more than a month ago and is afraid it will hurt his chances of reaching his dream, but Mansfield Police Chief Ken Coontz is helping to keep his dream alive.

The young boy wrote a letter and got more than he ever imagined in return.
