CUYAHOGA HEIGHTS-  Two lanes of I-77 north are back open between I-480 and I-490 after a fiery crash near Grant Avenue shortly after 12 p.m. Monday.

All lanes of I-77 southbound have been reopened.

Authorities tell FOX 8's Matt Wright that a tanker carrying dry concrete collided with a minivan taxi, pinning it against a railroad overpass bridge in the northbound lanes.  A guardrail was also hit.

Witnesses working at nearby businesses say they heard a loud boom and felt the ground shake.

A driver in each vehicle was taken to MetroHealth Medical Center with minor injuries.  ODOT crews are currently inspecting the bridge to make sure there are not structural problems.

Below is video taken from the scene by FOX 8 viewer Dave Toma.

Independence police say the remaining lanes of I-77 northbound will remain closed from Rockside Road beyond the Grant Road exit until 9 p.m. Monday.

Drivers are asked to use I-480, SR 176 and I-490 for alternative routes.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.

This is a developing story. FOX 8 has a crew on the scene and will have more details as they become available.
