Police: Meth lab found in car during routine traffic stop in Parma

PARMA -There is one suspect in custody after a routine traffic stop resulting in the discovery of a meth lab inside a vehicle, according to Parma police.

At 12:30 p.m. an officer made the stop, and then the car pulled into the BP gas station at Broadview Road and Pleasant Valley Road.

When the officer walked toward the vehicle, he inhaled fumes from the meth lab. He is currently being treated for his injuries.

Parma fire was called for decontamination, resulting in Broadview Road being closed north and south from Pleasant Valley road to the entrance of the nearby shopping center.


The gas station is also currently closed.
